Driving licenceHeld for at least 1 year
Accepted: national licence. Every driver needs a licence held for at least one year. EU and Schengen licences are accepted. A licence from outside the EU and Schengen also needs a valid International Driving Permit.

A credit card is needed for the deposit. Bring the physical card. It must be in the main driver's name.

Damage excess
€2,990–€4,500 on CDW, depending on the car category. LAZY lowers it by 40% (€1,794–€2,700), SMART by 50% (€1,495–€2,250), SCDW by 60% (€1,196–€1,800). Tyres, rims and glass are not covered. The theft excess doubles if the car is stolen outside the Schengen area. Cover is not valid for gross negligence, illegal use or breach of contract. Upgrades are bought at the counter at pick-up.

CDW — the base package
Included in the rate. Damage and theft excess €2,990–€4,500, by car category. Tyres, rims and glass are not covered.
LAZY — excess reduced 40%€39 per day
Damage and theft excess €1,794–€2,700. Includes damage and fire insurance, and out-of-hours return without a shuttle.
SMART — excess reduced 50%€49 per day
Damage and theft excess €1,495–€2,250. Adds Schengen roadside assistance, and includes the young-driver, senior and additional-driver fees.
SCDW — excess reduced 60%€59 per day
Damage and theft excess €1,196–€1,800, the lowest offered. Includes glass insurance and cleaning.
In case of an accident
A police report is required for theft and fire.

Mileage allowance
€0.69 per km over your allowance. Unlimited mileage: €49 per day, up to 10 days. Distance packages per rental: 200 km €99, 300 km €149, 500 km €249, 1,000 km €399. The station confirms the kilometres included with your car.

Collection outside the desk's opening hours. Charged if the car is collected outside opening hours.

Grace period30 minutes
30 minutes' grace. After that a late fee applies: €199 on CDW, €99 on LAZY, SMART and SCDW.

Cross-border drivingPermitted
Only with authorisation bought at the counter before the rental starts: €99 to a neighbouring Schengen country, €299 elsewhere in Schengen, €990 outside Schengen. Without authorisation: €199, €599 or €1,699. Motorway tolls are extra. The theft excess doubles outside Schengen.

Free cancellationUp to 48 hours before pick-up
Anything you paid online is refunded in full. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded.
Rental company's own rules
Free cancellation more than 24 hours before pick-up. Within 24 hours: a €49 fee, on every package. No-show: the maximum price booked for the first 24 hours, including daily extras. Both are lowered if the rental company saves costs or rents the car again. Dryyve's own refund rule for online payments is shown at checkout.

Other Austrian charges: a statutory duty of 1% of the contract value on rentals over €150 concluded in Austria; a digitalisation and document-management fee of 2% of the gross contract value; a motorway vignette at €9.60 for one day or €12.80 for ten, which does not cover the section tolls on the A9, A10, A11, A13 and S16; and a €49 administration fee after the rental if the motorway was used without a vignette. Road circulation taxes are included on all packages.
Prices are in euros and include VAT on services. Deductibles and breach-of-contract fees are exempt from VAT.
Third-party liability is included, as the law requires.
